The Cascade F-Series Sideshifter allows forklift operators to move the forks and load from side to side without repositioning the entire lift truck. This lateral movement helps operators align the forks with pallets, center loads in racks and position materials in trailers, railcars and other confined spaces.

The sideshifter arrives preassembled and greased for installation without welding, drilling or tapping. Its high-visibility frame, uniform sideshift movement and compatibility with a wide range of lift truck carriages make it suitable for everyday pallet-handling applications.

  • Moves the forks and load laterally without requiring the operator to reposition the lift truck.
  • Helps operators align the forks for more accurate pallet entry.
  • Reduces unnecessary maneuvering when loading trailers, working in narrow aisles or placing loads in racks.
  • Supports tighter, more evenly aligned stacking for improved use of warehouse space.
  • Can reduce contact damage to pallets, products, racks and surrounding structures.
  • Less truck repositioning can reduce wear on tires, steering components and the transmission.
  • High-visibility upper hook and fork-bar design for a clearer view through the attachment.
  • Double-ended cylinder rod that provides equal sideshift speed in both directions.
  • High-pressure hydraulic cylinder compatible with systems operating at up to 3,500 psi.
  • Preassembled and greased for installation without welding, drilling or tapping.
  • Pre-drilled frame for conversion to a Cascade K-Series Fork Positioner on compatible configurations.
  • Centering key on the J-plate to assist with attachment installation.
  • Protected upper bearings and snap-in nylon lower bearings.
  • Adjustable lower mounting hooks with a serrated interface for positive adjustment.
  • Grease fittings located in the upper hook for routine lubrication.
  • JIC hydraulic hoses and flared fittings.
  • Compatibility with OEM carriage widths and load-backrest bolt patterns on most lift trucks.
  • Quick-disconnect mounting for removing the sideshifter from the truck carriage without hand tools.
  • Pallet protector to help prevent contact with the top deck boards of the pallet.
  • Hydraulic component guard to protect the lift truck and sideshifter hydraulics.
  • Bronze upper bearings and lower hooks for abrasive or contaminated environments.
  • Restricted 4- or 6-inch sideshift strokes for applications with limited clearance.
  • Extended 12-inch sideshift stroke for applications requiring additional lateral movement.
  • Load backrests with OEM-compatible widths and bolt patterns.
  • Narrow-aisle sideshifter configurations.
  • Wide lower hooks for long-load, reverse-loading or clearance-sensitive applications.
  • Face-seal hydraulic fittings in place of standard JIC fittings.
  • K-Series Fork Positioner conversion kit for hydraulically adjusting fork spacing.
  • Lateral load positioning reduces the amount of forward and reverse truck maneuvering required for alignment.
  • The high-visibility center window helps operators see the forks and load during pickup and placement.
  • Optional conversion to a fork positioner allows operators to adjust fork spacing without leaving the seat to move the forks manually.
  • Reduced truck repositioning can simplify pallet handling in narrow aisles, trailers and railcars.
  • Improved visibility helps operators monitor fork position when entering pallets and placing loads.
  • Optional pallet protectors and hydraulic component guards help protect commonly exposed areas.
  • Fork locking pins and stops help retain the forks on the attachment.
  • The attachment is designed to meet applicable ITA, ANSI/ITSDF and ISO requirements.
  • The rated capacity of the forklift and attachment combination may be lower than the capacity shown on the attachment. Operators should follow the updated lift truck nameplate.
  • Loads should be centered before traveling or lifting, and sideshifting should be limited when a load is raised.
  • Capacity configurations are available up to 15,000 pounds.
  • Compatible with Class II, Class III and Class IV lift truck carriages.
  • Available sideshift strokes range from 4 to 12 inches.
  • The double-ended cylinder provides consistent movement to the left and right.
  • Hydraulic compatibility up to 3,500 psi eliminates the need for an additional pressure relief on many lift trucks.
  • 55F and 65F models have a recommended hydraulic flow of 2 gpm.
  • 100F, 120F, 150F and 165F models have a recommended hydraulic flow of 4 gpm.
  • Requires one hydraulic function to operate the sideshift movement.
  • Upper-hook grease fittings provide accessible lubrication points.
  • The cylinder support pin holds the cylinder in position during installation and service.
  • The cylinder is positioned away from the primary line of contact for added protection and easier hydraulic connection.
  • Snap-in lower bearings are retained in the frame and can be replaced when worn.
  • Protected bearings travel along a smooth J-plate to reduce friction and bearing-surface wear.
  • Adjustable lower mounting hooks make it possible to maintain the required hook-to-carriage clearance.
  • Optional quick-disconnect hooks allow attachment removal without hand tools.
