Cascade J-Series Bale Clamps provide a pallet-free solution for handling cotton, flax, wool, synthetic fibers, hay, rags, and recycled clothing. The open-frame design supports clear visibility, while equal arm movement and available sideshift help operators approach and position loads efficiently. High-strength steel construction, lubrication-free UHMW bearings, and replaceable wear components support durable operation with reduced routine maintenance.
Non-sideshifting, sideshifting, and 360-degree revolving models are available with multiple arm lengths, opening ranges, facings, and hydraulic configurations. Capacities range from 2,600 to 5,100 lb across the documented J-Series bale clamp configurations.

  • Handles baled materials without pallets, including cotton, textiles, corrugated material, newsprint, hay, rags, recycled clothing and metal scrap.
  • Basic, sideshifting and 360-degree revolving configurations support different handling and load-positioning requirements.
  • Thin arm profiles help operators work between tightly spaced loads.
  • Multiple capacities, opening ranges and arm dimensions allow the attachment to be matched to the application.
  • J-Series models feature a high-strength steel frame, steel castings and full-length UHMW bearings that require no lubrication.
  • A flow divider supports equal arm movement.
  • Standard J-Series three-rib arm facings use elliptical cutouts to engage the load.
  • An integrated centering key supports precise, secure installation.
  • D-Series models use durable arms, an aluminum frame and extended-life arm-slide material.
  • Special frame widths, opening ranges and arm dimensions.
  • Round-bar, serrated-rib, button and custom arm-facing configurations.
  • Independent arm control for applications requiring separate arm positioning.
  • Regeneration valve for faster opening on low-flow electric lift trucks.
  • External sideshifter mounting, load backrest, valve guard and bumper or cylinder cover.
  • Wear strips beneath the arms and frame.
  • Quick-disconnect mounting kit or quick-change lower hooks, depending on model.
  • Open-frame J-Series construction provides a clear view through the attachment.
  • Low-profile D-Series frames improve visibility over the clamp.
  • Sideshifting models allow lateral load positioning from the operator compartment.
  • J-Series hydraulic protection covers both clamp and backhand functions.
  • Adjustable pressure relief is provided for clamp and sideshift functions.
  • Available load backrests and valve or cylinder guards add application-specific protection.
  • Non-pulp models provide capacities from 2,500 to 7,000 lb at a 24-inch load center.
  • An efficient J-Series hydraulic system is designed to reduce energy consumption while maintaining attachment performance.
  • Sideshift circuit relief supports controlled sideshift speed and performance.
  • Revolving configurations provide 360-degree rotation for inverting or reorienting baled loads.
  • High- and low-pressure J-Series hydraulic packages help match the attachment to the lift truck.
  • Top-mounted J-Series hydraulic cartridges and a test port provide convenient access for adjustment and troubleshooting.
  • Full-length UHMW bearings eliminate routine bearing lubrication on J-Series models.
  • A hardened, replaceable center frame wear segment protects non-revolving J-Series frames at a primary wear point.
  • Optional wear strips provide replaceable protection beneath the frame and arms.
  • Cotton and textile processing.
  • Recycling and waste handling.
  • Paper, corrugated material and newsprint handling.
  • Agriculture and hay handling.
  • Metal and general scrap processing.
